Amanda Pedrosa

Amanda Pedrosa’s relationship with design begins with the body. Seven years of classical ballet preceded fashion, developing her sensitivity to balance, posture and presence. That experience continues through an attentive understanding of women: how they move, express themselves and find confidence within.

Her background in International Relations broadened her horizons and brought different cultures into her story. Today, that perspective accompanies a Brazilian designer whose work reaches women across Europe, the United States and Saudi Arabia. Different distances and traditions meet in the desire to wear something personal.

In 2016, three dresses created for friends marked the beginning of by Amanda Pedrosa. Ten years later, the closeness of that beginning remains part of the house’s identity. Amanda continues to develop her creations through a direct relationship with the women who choose her work.

“Luxury is not about excess. It’s about intention.”

This conviction guides a feminine, timeless and individual design language. Every silhouette, proportion and detail must have a purpose within the creation. For Amanda, a gown should allow a woman to recognise her own identity and feel confident enough to inhabit it.

Amanda Pedrosa — Couture Atelier

Founded in São Paulo, by Amanda Pedrosa has spent a decade building a world devoted to bridal and evening couture. The atelier embraces different expressions of femininity: the solemnity of a bride, the presence of an evening gown, the romance of lace and the strength of a structured silhouette.

Each creation belongs to this world while retaining its individuality. A gown may make its impression through volume, the shape of its back or a single detail. The house’s identity emerges through the relationship between these choices and the freedom to create for women with distinct personalities.

Made-to-measure holds a central place in this story. It is where the designer’s language meets the wishes of the woman who will wear the gown. Through that exchange, references acquire an individual interpretation, and the dress becomes part of an occasion belonging to the client’s own history.

With creations worn by women in Brazil, the United States, Europe and Saudi Arabia, the house brings its Brazilian identity into different settings. Weddings, celebrations and special gatherings give new contexts to the work developed in São Paulo.

The intention remains constant: to create gowns that hold meaning for the women who choose them. Pieces that accompany an important occasion and preserve, in photographs and memory, something of the woman who lived it.
